Basics

Beginner’s approach to Yoga! This is a Gentle Hatha Yoga class focused on your specific alignment needs while honoring your mental and emotional state. We will modify and amplify postures with props and enhance your practice through alignment and breath. This class involves breathing exercises, foundational postures and poses, and brief introduction to the 8 Limbs of Yoga. This class ends with stillness (Savasana).

Stillness

This is a Yoga Nidra & Sound Meditation class focused on bringing stillness into the body to release emotional and mental stress, rest the nervous system, and balance the natural energies within your body. This session explores how energy, sound, and water moves through the body. This session involves deep relaxation by laying on the floor or seated comfortably while Crystal Sound Bowls and various instruments are played all around you. This class ends with a brief, guided breathing exercise (Pranayama).

Flow

This is a Vinyasa Flow Yoga class focused on breathing and moving the body through a thoughtful sequence of Yoga poses molded to fit your body and desires. This class invites an energizing practice with lots of active breathing and movements from posture to posture. This class ends with stretching and stillness (Savasana).

Stretch

This is a Yin Yoga class focused on stretching a targeted area of your body to release tension and stress that has built up in that area. This session involves holding restorative Yoga poses for 5-7 minutes while the body is supported by pillows and blankets. This class ends in a mantra-based, guided meditation and stillness that also focuses on releasing emotions and tensions in that certain part of the body.

Support

This is a Chair Yoga class for individuals seeking more stability and assistance in classes. Participants will use the support of a chair to arrive in postures and to move in and out of poses. This class focuses on safety, alignment, and breathing properly to unlitmate feel your best! This class ends in stillness (Savasana) with the option to lay down on your mat or stay seated in your chair.

Y12SR

This is a Y12SR (The Yoga of 12-Step Recovery) class open to anyone dealing with their own addictive behaviors or affected by that of others, all recovery paths are welcome. The class combines the somatic approach of Yoga with teh cognitive approach of 12-step programs.
